Centurion will bring to market an extraordinary matched pair of matched German Wheellock pistols by Hanns Keiner. Each pistol is finely crafted with exceptional detail. This pair will sell in the November 30th, 2014 Militaria & Firearm Auction. The auction is open to everyone. Along with the matched pair of Wheellock pistols, the auction offers collectors a wonderful opportunity to bid on more than 450 lots of military collectibles and firearms from all eras and conflicts. 

Extremely fine matched pair of wheellock pistols by Hanns Keiner of Erger Prussia ca. 1670. Each is finely carved from burl walnut. 13" barrels with smooth 58 caliber bore.  Barrels are etched with silver plated tangs and .75" brass sights. Hanns Keiner is etched in to the top of each barrel. 8" silver plated wheellocks are finely etched and pierced. Butts are of silver plated etched steel with pierced silver rosette medallions attached. The guns are 21" total an are accompanied by a 5.5" key.

Condition: Very fine with minimal wear. One pistol has a crack to the left of the barrel tang.
