Extremely fine matched pair of wheellock pistols by Hanns Keiner of Erger Prussia ca. 1670. Each is finely carved from burl walnut. 13" barrels with smooth 58 caliber bore. Barrels are etched with silver plated tangs and .75" brass sights. Hanns Keiner is etched in to the top of each barrel. 8" silver plated wheellocks are finely etched and pierced. Butts are of silver plated etched steel with pierced silver rosette medallions attached. The guns are 21" total an are accompanied by a 5.5" key.
